A Father's Day Guide to Surviving the Internet
Nothing on the internet is real anymore and that’s great news for your dad! No matter what he wants to believe about the world, a quick search will bring up a dozen articles to support his point of view. But the fun doesn’t have to stop there. This weekend, bond with Dad by taking questionably sourced information to the next level with Survive the Internet.
In Survive the Internet, players start by answering opinion-based questions. Those responses are sent to another player that twists their words out of context to create an absurd internet post or comment in the first player’s name. Then everyone votes on who looks the most ridiculous. It’s just like the real internet, but with even less fact checking!
If you’d rather have someone ELSE explain how to play the game to your dad, let our very own Spencer Ham (director of Survive the Internet) explain the game for you:

And like all of our games, you use your phone or tablet as a controller. If you’ve already gone through the painful process of teaching your dad to text, he’s ready to play!
So pick up Survive the Internet and the rest of Jackbox Party Pack 4 on PC or TV-based platforms, and let your dad know you care enough to help him set up his PC or TV-based platform.
Check it out for yourself & for Dad here.
