5 Games Like Cards Against Humanity To Play With Friends

Looking for new party games similar to Cards Against Humanity? You came to the right place! Jackbox Games has tons of hilarious and remarkably fun games that can be played in-person or online on all major digital platforms, including Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and more!

Jackbox Games are easy to play with friends and family - just make sure everyone can see the TV or screen where the game was launched and then all of the players in your group use their phones as controllers to play. Plus, only one member of your group needs to own a title to launch the game! We have a helpful video tutorial and step-by-step instructions for how to connect all of your players to the game here.

Fans of Cards Against Humanity will love these party games:

#1 - The Quiplash Series

In Quiplash, there are no rules or correct answers. You just say whatever you want! Your answer will be pitted against another player’s answer in a head-to-head battle. Other players – and even an audience of up to 10,000 people – then vote on their favorite answer. It’s that simple!

And yes, you read that right: while the game is for 3-8 players, it supports up to 10,000 active participants in the Audience, all of whom have the ability to affect the vote! More than 8 people at your party? Nobody has to sit out. Playing on a stream? Your viewers can join in and participate in the game.

You’ll know you’re playing Quiplash when you type something like “unicorn farts” on your phone, and it carries you to victory!

Quiplash is available as its own standalone game for under $10!

#1A - Quiplash 2 / Quiplash 2 InterLASHional

Quiplash 2 allows players to create their own custom episodes! Create themed episodes for a holiday party, bachelorette party, dog birthday party… the options are endless! Quiplash 2 also features new final round categories like the “Comic Lash,” where players fill in the missing dialogue in a cartoon strip. Are you funnier than Garfield creator Jim Davis? Probably!

Want to play Quiplash with non-English speakers or practice a new language? Quiplash 2 InterLASHional has everything beloved in the existing Quiplash game, plus…

100 EXTRA French prompts!
100 EXTRA Italian prompts!
100 EXTRA German prompts!
100 EXTRA Spanish prompts!

All in one QUINTILINGUAL Quiplash!

Quiplash 2 is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 3 and Quiplash 2 InterLASHional is available as its own standalone game for under $10!

#1B - Quiplash 3

Quiplash 3 has the same classic Quiplash style with an all new final round - Thriplash! In Thriplash, the prompts ask players to enter three responses. That’s three times the chances to be funny!

Quiplash 3 now also has a moderation feature that allows responses to be seen prior to being displayed on screen. Additionally, a new filtering option allows profanity and hateful speech to be blocked before even reaching moderation.

Quiplash 3 is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 7.

#2 - Fibbage 4

The lying game for lying liars is back! Everyone’s favorite trivia host, Cookie Masterson, returns with Fibbage 4, the biggest entry yet in the long-running irreverent bluffing game series. In Fibbage, you get an unbelievable true fact with a key word or phrase blanked out. Then you make up a lie that fits the blank to fool your fellow players. Earn points by spotting the truth and tricking your gullible friends with your lies.

Fibbage 4 has tons of fresh trivia, plus a boatload of new features: “Cookie’s VHS Vault” features clips from the craziest old movies we could find (under Cookie’s bed.) “Fibbage Fan Fact” stars real-life Fibbage fans hosting questions about crazy things that happened to them. The popular “Enough About You” mode returns, allowing you to play an entire game with questions about you and your friends. And the brand new “Final Fibbage” challenges players to write one lie that works for two entirely different questions.

For streamers, an audience of thousands can play along, guessing the truth and voting on lies to trip up the players. For the first time in Fibbage, the audience earns their own score and gets a ranked award for their performance at the end of the game. And you can maintain order on your stream with updated moderation tools, including the ability to kick troublesome players mid-game.

Fibbage 4 is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 9.

#3 - Survive the Internet

During each round, players get a different prompt on their device that asks a simple, opinion-based question like, “How do you feel about Fidget Cubes?” Let’s say you’re wildly addicted to them, so you respond with, “I’m addicted to them!”

That response is then randomly sent to another player. Their objective is to take your quote out of context in the funniest way they can. So your opponent might add a hashtag to make it seem like you’re addicted to #HomeworkAssignments, #Swirlies, #UndercookedFrenchFries, or some other thing that makes you look like a total putz!

Then, everyone votes on who comes out looking the most ridiculous. You earn bonus points for being the person who made them look that way! And our putz friends earn some pity points for sacrificing their reputation. The player with the most points at the end “survives.”

Survive the Internet is also the birthplace of Jackbox’s favorite non playable character, Gene! Play your cards wrong and Gene may just out-survive you. But hey, it’s good to let Gene win now and again. He needs this, guys.

Survive the Internet is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 4.

#4 - Dictionarium

What is “blarnkt”? A type of fungus? The sound a sick pigeon makes? A stew served at weddings where the couple doesn’t really love each other? Don’t ask us, it’s up to you! Humans have been inventing words and phrases for centuries. Now it’s your turn to contribute an entry to the pages of the Dictionarium.

In the Dictionarium, you’re served up hot, fresh, never-seen-before words and it’s your job to define them. The definition with the most votes wins, but you’re not off the hook yet! You’ll also come up with a synonym and use the word in a sentence.

By the end of the game, you’ve collectively created an entirely new dictionary entry, which will be forever enshrined in the Dictionarium by it’s faithful keeper. She’s upbeat, odd, and Northern European…we think? We didn’t ask her in the beginning and now it’s too late.

Dictionarium is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 6.

#5 - Job Job

Welcome to Job Job, a game where you use other people’s words to answer interview questions! Funny and unique answers get votes, and the player with the most points in the end SCORES THE JOB (JOB)! M. Bubbles, the bubbly boss (and sentient water cooler), is here to guide you through a revolutionary job interview experience.

First, players answer some simple icebreaker questions. You can answer these any way you want (feel free to ignore the question itself!), as long as your answers are five words or more. The sentences you write are shuffled and sent to other players.

Now it’s time for the interview! You can use any word (or punctuation) from the sentences you have been given to answer two interview questions. Here’s a secret tip: you can ALSO use any word on your controller, including words from the question itself! Feeling stuck? You can SHUFFLE or SORT the words on your controller to get new inspiration, or press START FOR ME and the game will pick three random words to get you started.

Then, players go head-to-head, and everyone votes for their favorite answers. You get points for a winning answer, and the people that wrote the words you used, they also get points!

Round Two involves the same process, but this time players answer two hypothetical questions about office life. And then in Round Three, players finish some personal statements because M. Bubbles MAY have lost your resumes (spoiler alert: they did). At the end, the player with the most points wins the job!

Job Job is available in The Jackbox Party Pack 8.

There are tons of other games in the Jackbox catalogue that are sure to take your gatherings to the next level! You can get five unique and incredibly entertaining Jackbox Games for under $30 by purchasing a Party Pack! Learn more about how to play The Jackbox Party Pack 9 remotely HERE.
